You are likely aware of the global IC shortage that is still affecting the availability of some key components. LightWare is closely monitoring the situation, and in these uncertain times we have devised agile strategies to ensure continued supply of our microLiDAR® sensors at the same quality and functionality you’ve come to expect from us.
New microchip update for the SF000/B microLiDAR® sensor. We have updated the processor and other electronic components on our SF000/B microLiDAR® sensors. The changes offer the exact same specification as the one it is replacing, and has no impact on performance or functionality. To reflect these changes, PCBA Rev 3 has been updated to PCBA Rev 7 with immediate effect.
What does this mean for you? We can assure you that the durability and reliability of our sensors has not been affected. The SF000/B microLiDAR® sensor will continue to perform and function the same as the previous revision. |
